The Mardi Himal Trek is a relatively short and less crowded trekking route in the Annapurna region of Nepal, offering stunning views of the Annapurna Range, including the majestic Machhapuchhre (Fishtail).This itinerary offers a condensed yet fulfilling experience of the Mardi Himal Trek, allowing young students to immerse themselves in the natural beauty of the Himalayas while accommodating a limited timeframe. Fly to Pokhara, Drive to Pritam Daurali, and Trek to Lovely Dada ( 2300 meters ))

Trek to Low Base Camp ( 2,970 meters)

Hike to High Camp (3,700 meters) and Back to Low Camp

Day 01
Arrival in Kathmandu ( 1400 meters)
• Arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, transfer to the hotel.
• Rest and preparation for the upcoming trek.

Day 02
Fly to Pokhara, Drive to Pritam Daurali, and Trek to Lovely Dada ( 2300 meters ))
• Morning flight from Kathmandu to Pokhara (25 minutes).
• Drive from Pokhara to Pritam Daurali (2 hours).
• Trek from Pritam Daurali to Lovely Dada through scenic trails and local villages. (1.5

Day 03
Trek to Low Base Camp ( 2,970 meters)
• Trek through dense forests, enjoying the views of surrounding mountains.
• Reach Low Base Camp and acclimatize.
• Accommodation: Tea house at Low Base Camp
Altitude: 2,970 meters (9,744 feet). Trekking Time: 5-6 hours
Day 04
Hike to High Camp (3,700 meters) and Back to Low Camp
• Early morning hike from Low Camp to High Camp/Mardi View point.
• Enjoy panoramic views of the Annapurna range.
• Return to Low Camp for the night.
• Accommodation: Tea house at Low Base Camp

Day 05
Trek to Ghalel ( 1,500 meters ) through Forest Camp and Drive to Pokhara by Jeep (827 meters)

• Scenic drive from Ghalel to Pokhara by jeep (3-4 hours).

• Visit Moonlight School and get an overview of the service project.
• Accommodation: Hotel in Kathmandu
Day 08
Fly back to your onward destination
The Moonlight Nepal Trekking and Adventure team will take you to the airport for your flight home. Alternatively, if your flight is scheduled for the evening, you have the option to either spend more time with the Moonlight School or explore the city through sightseeing and shopping during the day. We will arrange for your airport drop-off three hours before your departure time.

  • Productive Service Project at Moonlight School: Spend a rewarding day at Moonlight School in Kathmandu, engaging in a hands-on service project with local students. We aim to keep our program affordable for as many students as possible. To achieve this, we regularly work with schools to set a reasonable and feasible cost.
