Day 01
Arrival in Kathmandu
Upon arrival at Kathmandu Tribhuvan International Airport, you will be welcomed at the airport by our representative and transferred to your hotel by private car. After you settle into the hotel, you will have a welcome drink, followed by a briefing with your tour leader. He will discuss the trip details and co-ordinate any last minute arrangements. Enjoy your overnight stay at a deluxe hotel in Kathmandu
Day 02
Fly from Kathmandu to Pokhara (35min) and transfer to Hotel
Enjoy a breakfast and drive to Airport and flight to Pokhara, and check you in at your hotel once you arrive. After resting for a while, we hike to Peace Pagoda which takes about 1 hour of walking. We can see panoramic views of the magnificent and high Himalayan range spanning Manaslu (8,163 m) to the Dhaulagiri (8,176m) range including Fishtail (6,900m) and Annapurna Massif as well as the scenic Pokhara valley and lake. Then, we will drive back to the hotel and explore the surroundings and simply relax at the heart of Lakeside, the main city of Pokhara. You will enjoy your overnight stay at a deluxe hotel in Pokhara.
Day 03
Drive from Pokhara to Phedi and trek to Dhampus Village
After breakfast,we will take a van and drive to Phedi which takes about 45 minutes. We will start to steep climb up with stone staircases through the Rhododendron forest until reaching lower Dhampus which takes about 1 hour. Then, we will gently climb up again passing the terraced fields and small houses. We again keep climbing up through the rhododendron forest until reaching on the ridge which takes about 1 hour. We can see very spectacular Annapurna Range and Fishtail. Then, we trek on the plain or road trail until reaching our Hotel which takes about 30 minutes. We will have a lunch and whole afternoon free for resting, studying and playing.
Our experienced cultural guide will enrich our understanding of Nepali culture, sharing valuable insights and anecdotes. Furthermore, the guide will brief us on the exciting plans for tomorrow's activities, ensuring we are well-prepared and eager to embrace the upcoming adventures.
Day 04
Trek from Dhampus Village to Australian Camp
After breakfast, we will start gently climb up through the rhododendron and oak forests until reaching Pothana which takes about 1 and half hour. We make a short rest and keep climbing up with stone staircases until reaching Australian Camp which takes about 1 hour. We will have a lunch. Afternoon, we make a short Jungle Walking just above our hotel. The trail is good to walk through the Rhododendron, oak and fir forest about 1 and half hour and back to Hotel. Luckily, sometime we can see white face monkey and some wild animals as well as very beautiful birds. This is very spectacular when the Rhododendron is blooming in the March and April. We will enjoy with Sunset view over the Himalayas in the evening. We will stay overnight in Hotel.
Day 05
Trek from Australian Camp to Naudada
Enjoy with sunrise view over the majestic Himalayas, then have a breakfast. Afterward, we will embark on a gentle descent along a plain trail, soon transitioning to a rocky trail with numerous stone staircases, offering captivating views of the village of Kande and the highway. Our journey continues until we reach Naudada, a place of tranquility where you can rejuvenate your mind and body, bask in the warmth of Nepali hospitality, and escape the bustling demands of city life. Here, amidst comfort, you can relish the most breathtaking panoramic views, stretching from the mighty Dhaulagiri (8167m) in the west to the majestic Fishtail (7900m), and the entire Annapurna massif and Manaslu (8,163m) in the east.
Naudada serves as the perfect vantage point to unwind after the trek, offering a chance to revel in the splendor of the surrounding mountain views. We will spend a relaxing and memorable night at a deluxe hotel in Naudada, cherishing the serenity and beauty of this remarkable destination
Day 06
Drive to Pokhara and flight back to Kathmandu
Take in the panoramic views of the Himalayas from the view point tower including Mt. Dhaulagiri (8,167m), Mt. Annapurna I (8,091m), Mt. Nilgiri (7,040m), Annapurna south (7,219m), Annapurna II (7,937m), Annapurna III (7,555m), Annapurna IV (7,525m), Hunchuli (6,441m), fishtail (6,998m), LamjungHimal (6,986m), Tukuche peak (6,920m) and Dhampus peak (6,012m). Enjoy a breakfast and drive to Pokhara Airport. Around 11:30, you will fly back to Kathmandu—a thrilling flight over forests, fields and villages, with the Himalayas in the background. Spend much of the afternoon relaxing and enjoying in Kathmandu. Stay overnight at your deluxe hotel in Kathmandu.
Day 07
Service projects at Moonlight School
Following breakfast, at approximately 9:30 am, we will will walk to Moonlight School. This visit presents a valuable opportunity for students to participate in meaningful service projects, which encompass teaching lessons, organizing classroom games, and engaging in enriching cultural interactions with the students at Moonlight School. As a highlight of the day, a special lunch will be shared with the Moonlight children and teachers, fostering a sense of connection and camaraderie.
Having had a fulfilling day at Moonlight School, we will then return to our deluxe hotel in Kathmandu, where we can enjoy a comfortable and restful overnight stay.
Day 08
Fly back to your onward destination
The Moonlight Nepal Trekking and Adventure team will take you to the airport for your flight home. Alternatively, if your flight is scheduled for the evening, you have the option to either spend more time with the Moonlight School or explore the city through sightseeing and shopping during the day. We will arrange for your airport drop-off three hours before your departure time.
