Our programs offer a truly transformative experience with:
Our experiential learning journeys are thoughtfully crafted to provide international students with a well-rounded, meaningful experience in Nepal. Each program integrates three core elements—trekking, community service, and cultural immersion—designed to inspire personal growth, global awareness, and a lasting sense of purpose.
Duration: 6–7 Days
Our standard program runs for 6 to 7 days, with flexibility to adapt the itinerary to meet school schedules and learning objectives. Every day is purposefully structured to balance physical activity, cultural engagement, and reflection—ensuring a fulfilling and dynamic experience for students.
Trekking: 4–5 Days
Students take part in a 4 to 5-day trek through some of Nepal’s most spectacular natural landscapes. Routes are chosen to align with students’ fitness levels and group interests, offering panoramic views of the Himalayan ranges, terraced hillsides, and traditional mountain villages. This part of the journey promotes teamwork, resilience, and a deeper appreciation for nature and local life in the mountains.

Community Service: 1–2 Days at Moonlight School
A key highlight of the program is the opportunity to give back. Students spend 1 to 2 days at Moonlight Foundation Nepal School—a nonprofit that provides free, high-quality education to children from marginalized communities. Activities may include interactive classroom sessions, facility enhancement projects, or creative workshops. These hands-on contributions foster empathy, social responsibility, and a tangible connection to local educational initiatives.

Cultural Immersion: Guided Visits to UNESCO World Heritage Sites
To round out the experience, students explore the rich cultural heritage of Nepal through guided visits to UNESCO World Heritage Sites in the Kathmandu Valley. These visits offer students a firsthand look into Nepal’s diverse spiritual traditions, architecture, and daily life—deepening their global perspective through authentic cultural exchange.

Whether you have a specific plan in mind, wish to add extra activities, or need adjustments, Moonlight will customize the itinerary to seamlessly align with your school’s schedule, interests, and goals—ensuring a truly unique and meaningful experience.
